Corrugated Furnace

GENERAL INFORMATION

In Smoke type Steam Boilers, the equipment where most of the combustion takes place is called furnace. Furnaces are divided into two types according to their structure as “plain” and “corrugated” according to EN 12953 standard. Flat furnaces are preferred for low pressures, and corrugated furnaces are preferred for high pressures and long service life.

PRODUCTION

The production of corrugated furnaces is divided into two as Hot Corrugated Furnace and Cold Corrugated furnace production, and according to the pitch type as Morrison and Fox. Since the hot corrugation process is at 900 °C, the product does not need to be normalized again. However, furnaces produced by cold forming must be subjected to a normalization process at 900 °C after production.

As Eralp, we produce hot pressed Fox type corrugated furnaces at 900°C for both our own products and other boiler manufacturers. Our company provides services to many domestic and foreign boiler manufacturers in this regard.

Our machine is the biggest capacity machine in Europe for Hot Corrugated Furnace.
