Hot Air Economizers

General Information

It is an economizer type in which the burner inlet air is heated by using the hot flue gas behind the boilers. Burners, which normally absorb ambient air at ambient temperature, increase their combustion performance when they absorb hot air by these economizers, and this affects the total efficiency by 2-2.5%. It is a type of economizer that is often placed behind the boiler to increase system efficiency. Especially in hot oil system they don’t need a hot water so they generally use this economizer to increase their efficiency. It is possible to increase total efficiency up to %5 in hot oil plants with using this economizer. 

As Eralp we are available to design and manufacture these types of economizers with bare tubes or high frequency welded fin tubes.

Production Standard:

Hot Water Economizers are produced according to EN 13445 standard. Since these economizers are unpressurized, CE certification is not possible.
